Chen Jisheng 陳繼盛 진계성
(천지성)
(d. 1630). A subordnate of Mao Wenlong. His daughter married Mao. After Mao's death, Yuan Chonghuan 袁崇煥 ordered four generals including Chen and Liu Xingzhi 劉興治 to lead Mao's army. But the four could not get along with the result that Chen and his followers were killed by Liu Xingzhi. 진계성(陳繼盛), 진부총(陳副摠)
Chen Jiuchuan 陳九川 진구천
(천지우촨)
(1494-1562). A native of Linchuan 臨川 and jinshi of 1514. He was appointed as erudite of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices 太常博士. As he tried to dissuade Emperor Zhengde 正德 from traveling to southern China, he was expelled from the court. Later he was made Director 郎中 of the Ministry of Rites 禮部. Since he was very frugal in dealing with government money, he was hated by corrupt officials. He fell prey to their plot and was banished to a remote place. Later he returned to court again. 진구천(陳九川)
Chen Jiujing 陳九經 진구경
(천지우징)
The son of Chen Lin 陳璘. A company commander 千總 who participated in the Battle at Noryang 露梁 in 1598. He captured one Japanese officer. 진구경(陳九經)
Chen Junqing 陳俊卿 진준경
(천쥔칭)
Chen Junqing(陳俊卿 , 1113~1186) was an official of the Song Dynasty. He came from Fujian(福建) and earned the jinshi (進士) degree in 1138. He was demoted due to discord with Qin Hui(秦檜). In 1169, he suppressed a riot led by a pirate named Nilang(倪郞). 진준경(陳俊卿)

Chen Li 陳理 진리
(천리)
(d. 1408). The son of Chen Youliang 陳友諒. After Chen's state was conquered by Zhu Yuanzhang 朱元章, he was entitled Duke of Shunde 順德侯 and sent to Korea. The Joseon court gave him land, food, and slaves. Even after Chen Li's death, the court continued to take care of his family. 진왕(陳王)

Chen Liang(陳亮, 1143~1194) was a scholar of the Song Dynasty. Hailing from Yongkang District(永康), Wu Prefecture(婺州), he strongly opposed the Song Court's attempt to make peace with Jin(金) in the reign of Emperor Xiaozong(孝宗). 진동보(陳同甫), 진량(陳亮), 동보(同甫), 용천선생(龍川先生)
