A commander (指揮) during the Jiajing era (1522-1566) of the Ming Dynasty.

(진루서우)
A commandant (守備) under Ming admiral Mao Wenlong (毛文龍) who was stationed in Ga Island (椵島) in Joseon and fought against the Later Jin (後金) army during the late Ming period.

Jin Shizong (Emperor Shizong) 金世宗 금세종
(진스쭝)
(1123-1189; r. 1161-1189). The fifth emperor of the Jin 金 dynasty. Birth name is Wanyan Yong 完颜雍. He rebelled against the Prince of Hailing 海陵王, then reigning emperor, whose policy of sinicization and the adventourous southern expeditions against the Southern Song initiated opposition among the Jurchen officials. He ascended the throne in 1611, following the Prince of Hailing who was assassinated by his officer. He made peace with the Southern Song, and brought the most prosperous times to the Jin dynasty during his reign. 세종(Shizong 世宗), 완안옹(完颜雍), 완안오록(完顏烏祿)
Jin Shou 金壽 김수
(진서우)
One of the eunuchs from Joseon who served in the Ming palace. He visited Joseon following the Ming envoy in 1407.

(진숴위안)
A Ming commoner who had been taken prisoner by the Jurchens(女眞) and later fled to Joseon. He was sent back to Liaodong(遼東) by the Joseon authorities during the reign of King Seongjong(成宗). 김석원(金碩原)

A platoon commander (摠旗) in Dongning (東寧), Liaodong (遼東), who was taken captive by the Jianzhou Jurchens. He was released due to the intercession of the Joseon envoy and sent back to Liaodong (遼東). 첩목아(帖木兒)

Jin Wen Gong 晉文公 진문공
(진원궁)
(697-628 BCE; r. 636-628 BCE). Duke Wen of Jin. A ruler of the state of Jin 晉 during the Spring and Autumn period. He ascended to the throne after over nineteen-years of wandering.
