Wanyan Linag(完顔亮, 1122-1161) was emperor of the Jin Dynasty. In 1149 he assassinated his cousin Emperor Xizong(熙宗) in a coup and proclaimed himself Emperor of Jin. However his attempts to conquer the Southern Song and unify China under his rule ended in failure, and he was also assassinated in a military coup led by his cousin Wanyan Wulu(完顏烏祿) in 1161.
