Born into the powerful ministerial lineage in the state of Qi 齊, he retired to his hermitage in Yuling 於陵. 중자(Zhongzi 仲子)
Chen Zong 陳宗 진종
(천쭝)
A native of Zhejiang 浙江. He was captured by the Japanese. In 1418, he escaped to Korea and the Joseon court sent him back to Liaodong 遼東. 진종(陣宗)

ChenWendi 陳文帝 진문제
(천원디)
(522-566; r. 560-566). An emperor of the Chen 陳 dynasty during the Northern and Southern Dynasties period and a nephew of the founding emperor, Emperor Wu. After Emperor Wu's death in 559, the court officials selected him as emperor. He enhanced the territory and power of the state. 진천(Chen Quan 陳蒨), 자화(Zihua 子華)

Cheng Hao 程顥 정호
(청하오)
Cheng Hao(程顥, 1032~1085) was a neo-Confucian philosopher of the Song Dynasty. In his early years, he studied under Zhou Dunyi(周敦頤), one of the architects of Neo-Confucian cosmology, with his younger brother Cheng Yi(程頤). In 1057, he earned the jinshi(進士) degree. He and his brother were referred to as "The Two Chengs"(二程), or individually as "Cheng the Elder" (大程) and "Cheng the Younger" (小程). 명도(明道), 명도선생(明道先生), 백정자(伯程子), 예국공(豫國公), 예국공(預國公), 정명도(程明道), 정백자(程伯子), 정호(程灝), 정호(程顥), 호(顥), 백순(伯淳).
