Chen Lie 陳烈 진렬
(천례)
Chen Lie(陳烈) was a Confucian scholar of the Song Dynasty. He was regarded as one of the Four Masters of Minzong(閩中四先生) with Zhou Ximeng(周希孟), Zheng Mu(鄭穆) and Chen Xiang(陳襄). 진렬(陳烈)
Chen Lin 陳璘 진린
(천린)
(1543-1607). A native of Shaozhou 韶州. He made several military contributions in battles against peasant rebels with the result that he was promoted from a commandant 守備 to brigade general 遊擊 and then to assistant regional commander 參將. In 1598 he destroyed a Japanese fleet at Noryang 露梁. He was known as the most meritorious among Ming generals during the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion). After he returned to China, he pacified Miao 苗 rebellions twice. When he died in 1607, the Ming court posthumously titled him the Grand Guardian of the Heir Apparent 太子太保. 린(璘), 진도독(陳都督), 진린(陳璘)
Chen Ling Gong 陳靈公 진령공
(천링공)
(r. 613-599 BCE). Duke Ling of Chen. The nineteenth ruler of the state of Chen 陳 during the Spring and Autumn period. He was murdered by minister 大夫 Xia Zhengshu 夏徵舒 who was a son of Xia Ji 夏姬. 진령(Chen Ling 陳靈)

(천산머우)
A native of Renhe 仁和 and jinshi of 1565. He served as magistrate 知縣 of Yongxin 永新 District, Jiangxi 江西 and then Secretary 主事 of the Ministry of Justice 刑部 and then supervising secretary 給事中 before he finally became Vice Minister of the Court of Imperial Sacrifices 太常寺小卿. In 1572 he came to Korea with the edict concerning the inauguration of Emperor Longqing 隆慶帝. 진삼모(陳三謨)
