As a sixth generation descendant of Guo Ying (郭英), who was one of key aides of Ming Taizu (明太祖), he inherited the title of Marquis of Wuding (武定侯) but later died in prison. 무정후(武定侯), 익국공(翊國公)
Guo Yaoshi 郭藥師 곽약사
(궈야오스)
Guo Yaoshi(郭藥師) was a general of the Liao Dynasty(遼). After the fall of Liao, he successively surrendered to Song(宋) and Jin(金). When the Jin forces attacked Song, Guo Yaoshi who was familiar with the Song situation distinguished himself in the battle of Jingkang(靖康) era in favor of Jin. 곽약사(郭藥師)

Guo Ying 郭英 곽영
(궈잉)
(1335-1403 CE). A native of Haozhou 濠州. A renowned military commander during the early Ming period. As he failed to suppress the revolt of the Prince of Yan 燕王, he was dismissed by the Jianwen Emperor and died in his hometown in the first year (1403) of the Yongle 永樂 era.

(궈위안전)
Guo Zhen(郭震, 656-713) was an official and general of the Tang Dynasty(唐), serving as Chancellor(宰相) during the reigns of Emperor Ruizong(睿宗) and Emperor Xuanzong(玄宗). In the reign of Xuanzong, he was demoted to military advisor to the prefect of Rao Prefecture(饒州司馬). He died of depression on the way to the new position. 곽원진(郭元振), 원진(元振)

A female convict who was serving out her sentence on light duty during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han 漢武帝. Bing Ji 丙吉 had her look after Liu Bingyi 劉病已, the future Emperor Xuan of Han 漢宣帝.
