Liu Yuanqing 劉源淸 유원청
(류위안칭)
A Native of Chao 曹, Shandong 山東, he was promoted to regional commander 總兵 of Linqing 臨淸. In 1642 when the Qing army attacked Linqing, he resisted the attacks for several days. However, Ming reinforcements did not come, and when Linqing was eventually taken, he was killed by the Qing army. 유원청(劉源淸)

Liu Yuqi 劉遇奇 유우기
(리우위치)
Liu Yuqi was born in Fengtian, Luling County, Jiangxi. He earned the jinshi degree in the 15th year(1658) of the Shunzhi era and served as county magistrate of Xi County, Hunan. He was later involved in the Literary Inquisition due to his book Shenyutangji in the late Qianlong era.
Liu Yuxi 劉禹錫 유우석

Liu Yuxi(劉禹錫, 772-842) was an official and poet of the Tang Dynasty. Born in Pengcheng(彭城), present-day Suzhou(蘇州), he became jinshi(進士) in 793 and worked with the poet Liu Zongyuan(柳宗元). Later, he was demoted and sent to work for nine years in minor positions including military advisor to the prefect of Lang Prefecture(朗州司馬). Though he was later recalled to the capital, he continued to have political problems, offending officials with his satirical writings. Eventually he found himself again exiled to various posts around the country. However, he became Minister of the Ministry of Rites(禮部尙書) before he finally left the court. 유우석(劉禹錫), 우석(禹錫), 몽득(夢得)

A jinshi of 1595; a Supervising Secretary 給事中 of the Office of Rites 禮科 right after the Imjin War (aka Hideyoshi's Invasion). 유여택(劉餘澤)

Liu Zhang 劉璋 유장
(리우장)
(d. 219). A warlord during the Eastern Han period and a native of Jiangxia Commandery 江夏郡. After his father Liu Yan's 劉焉 death, he succeeded the Governor of Yi province 益州牧 and ruled the region until 214 when he surrendered to Liu Bei(劉備). Later he was sent to Jing province 荊州 and surrendered to the Eastern Wu 東吳 again. 유장(Liu Zhang 劉璋), 장(Zhang 璋), 유장(Liu Zhang 柳璋), 계옥(Jiyu 季玉)

(200-176 BCE). A grandson of Emperor Gao of Han 漢高祖 who played a key role in suppressing the revolt of the Lü clan. 장(Zhang 章), 주허후(Zhuxu 朱虛侯)
Liu Zhang 劉長 유장
(류장)
The seventh son of Liu Bang 劉邦, the founder of the Han 漢 Dynasty. He was made the King of Huinan 淮南王 in 196 BCE. He was considered a strong candidate for the imperial throne after Empress Lü 呂后 died. When his rival, Liu Heng 劉恒 was enthroned as Emperor Wen 文帝, he ploted a rebellion, but it was discovered and he was exiled to Sichuan 四川.
