Chen Chun 陳淳 진순
(천춘)
Chen Chun(陳淳, 1159~1223) was an Neo-Confucian scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty. Hailing from Longxi District(龍溪), Zhang Prefecture(漳州), he studied under Zhu Xi(朱熹). He was posthumously honored as Wen'an(文安). 북계(北溪), 안경(安卿), 북계(北溪)
Chen Cisheng 陳次升 진차승
(천츠성)
Chen Cisheng(陳次升, 1044~1119) was an official of the Song Dynasty. He came from Xianyou(仙游) and earned the jinshi (進士) degree in 1073. In the reigns of Emperor Zhezong(哲宗) and Emperor Huizong(徽宗), he impeached Zhang Dun(章惇), Cai Bian(蔡卞), Zeng Bu(曾布) and Cai Jing(蔡京) with the result that he suffered demotion. 진(陳), 당시(當時)
Chen De 陳得 진득
(천더)
A subject of the Southern Ming 南明. He and about 90 other Southern Ming subjects drifted to Jeju island in 1667 while travelling from Fujian 福建 to Japan. The Joseon court delivered them to the Manchus with the result that all of them including Chen were put to death. 진득(陳得)

Chen Dong 陳東 진동
(천둥)
Chen Dong(陳東, 1086~1127) was a student of the National University(太學) during the Song Dynasty. He came from Danyang District(丹陽), Run Prefecture(潤州). In the reign of Emperor Gaozong(高宗), he submitted a memorial to the emperor, insisting on the dismissal of Huang Qianshan(黃潛善) and Wang Boyan(汪伯彦). Enraged, Emperor Gaozong ordered him decapitated. 진(陳), 진동(陳東), 소양(少陽)
Chen Dun 陳鈍 진둔
(천둔)
He visited Joseon as an envoy in 1452 when he was a Director 郎中 of the Ministry of Personnel 吏部. He brought the imperial edict that anounced the enthronement of the new crown prince in Ming. 둔(鈍), 진둔(陳鈍)
Chen Fan 陳蕃 진번
(천판)
A high-ranking official during the late Eastern Han period. He was murdered after an unsuccessful attempt to purge the powerful eunuchs.
Chen Fonu 陳佛奴 진불노
(천포누)
A Ming subject. He had been captured by Japanese, but in 1418 the Joseon court retrieved him and sent him back to China. 진불노(陳佛奴)

A registrar 主簿 who spoke to Liu Xiu 劉秀 (Emperor Guangwu) about Ji Zun's 祭遵 upright deed during the early Eastern Han period.
