Kong Yingda 孔穎達 공영달
(쿵잉다)
Kong Yingda(孔穎達, 574-648) was a prominent Confucian classicist and official of the Tang Dynasty. He was a native of Hengshui district(衡水縣), Ji Prefecture(冀州). He served as Doctor of the National Academy(國子博士), Deputy President of the National University(國子司業), and then Chancellor of the National University(國子祭酒) sucessively. He was an expert of the Spring and Autumn Annals(春秋), Book of History(尚書), Book of Songs(詩經), Book of Rites(禮記), and Book of Changes(周易). He compiled the Explanary Note of the Five Classics (五經正義). 공영달(孔穎達), 충원(衝遠)
Kong Yong 孔鏞 공용
(쿵융)
A native of Changzhou (長洲). When he was administrative clerk (知事) of Gaozhou (高州), he successfully persuaded the minority people named Yaotong (猺獞) not to revolt. Later he served concurrently as Vice Censor-in-Chief of the Right (右副都御史) and Grand Coordinator of Guizhou (巡撫貴州) for over thirty years.
Kong Youde 孔有德 공유덕
(쿵요우더)
(c.1604~1652). A native of Liaoyang, Liaodong. He was a subordinate general of Mao Wenlong 毛文龍 but revolted with Li Jiucheng 李九成 and Geng Zhongming 耿仲明 and others in 1632 (Wuqiao Revolt 吳橋兵變). Defeated by the Ming, they defected to the Manchu with Western-style cannons. Welcomed by Hong Taiji, he participated in the Second Manchu Invasion of Korea in 1636 as well as the invasion of China proper in the 1640s. He killed himself in Guilin when his forces were defeated by the Southern Ming army in 1652. 공원수(Kong Yuanshuai 孔元帥), 유덕(Youde 有德), 정남왕(Tingnan Wang 定南王)
