Duan Wenchang 段文昌 단문창
(돤원창)
Duan Wenchang(段文昌, 773-835)was an official of the Tang Dynasty(唐朝). He served as a chancellor under Emperor Muzong(穆宗). Later he became Military Governor of Jiannan Circuit and of Xichuan Circuit(劍南西川節度使). He governed Jiannan well and subjugated many barbarian races. After serving in various positions, he became Military Governor of Xichuan Circuit(西川節度使) again and died in office. He was sometimes criticized for his luxurious life syle. 단문창(段文昌), (墨卿), (鄒平公)
Duan Xiushi 段秀實 단수실

Duan Xiushi(段秀實, 719-783) was a general of the Tang Dynasty(唐朝). He served as a low ranking officer of Anxi Circuit(安西府) during the Battle of Talas. After the An Shi Rebellion(安史之亂), he became the King of Zhangye commandery(張掖郡王) with control of the entire military administration. During his time in control, Tibet(吐藩) did not dare to invade his jurisdiction. In 783 when Zhu Ci(朱泚) revolted, Duan Xiushi tried to kill Zhu by striking him with a sceptre, but the attempt failed, and he was killed. 단수실(段秀實), 수실(秀實), (成公)
Duan Zhichong 段志冲 단지충

Duan Zhichong(段志冲, ?-?), was a commoner in the reign of Emperor Taizong(太宗) of Tang(唐). He submitted a letter of admonition suggesting that the Crown Prince should take charge of state affairs. Zhangsun Wuji(長孫無忌) claimed that he should be executed on the charge of high treason, but Emperor Taizong forgave him. 단지충(段志冲), 지충(志冲)

A secretary (主事) of the Ministry of War (兵部) who was dispatched to Korea as an envoy in the second year (1402) of King Taejong (太宗) of Joseon; later became Vice Director 員外郞 of the Ministry of Rites 禮部; is also the younger brother of Wenyuan Academician Awaiting Orders (文淵閣待詔) Duanmu Li (端木禮) who was dispatched to Korea as an envoy in 1401. 단목효사(端木孝思), 지(智), 효사(孝思), 단목공(端木公)
Dugu Huanghou 獨孤皇后 독고황후
(두구황허우)
Empress Dugu(獨孤皇后, 544-602) was the wife of Emperor Wen(文帝) and the mother of Emperor Yang(煬帝) of the Sui Dynasty(隋). Born in Yunzhong(雲中), she was the seventh daughter of Dugu Xin(獨孤信), the Commamder-in-chief(大司馬) of the Western Wei Dynasty(西魏). She had great influence in the deposition of Crown Prince Yang Yong(楊勇) and the installation of Yang Guang(楊光) in his place. 독고황후(獨孤皇后)

One of the Ming commoners taken captive by Japanese pirates who fled to Joseon. He was settled in Wonju (原州) by the Joseon authorities in 1414.
