Chen Xianqi 陳仙奇 진선기
(천셴치)
Chen Xianqi(陳仙奇, ?-786) was a general of the Tang Dynasty(唐朝). He originally served under Li Xilie(李希烈), military governor of Huaixi(淮西節度使), who called himself an emperor against the Tang Dynasty. When he recognized the overall unfavorable condition of his side, he poisoned Li Xilie and surrendered to the Tang Dynasty. The Emperor Dezong(德宗) nominated him military governor of Huaixi(淮西節度使), instead of Li Xilie. But he was also assassinated by his subordinate Wu Shaocheng(吳少誠) before long. 선기(仙奇), 진선기(陳仙奇)
Chen Xianzhang 陳獻章 진헌장
(천셴장)
(1428-1500). A native of Xinhui 新會, Guangdong 廣東. He received the degree of juren 擧人 in 1447, but he failed to pass the metropolitan examination several times, so he did not receive degree of jinshi 進士. Nonetheless, he became a famous Neo-Confucian scholar. At first he devoted himself to Zhuxi's Neo-Confucianism, but he could not access the ancient sages' thoughts. He eventually realized that only meditation could help people do so. When he taught students at Baishaxiang 白沙鄕, he was niknamed as Mr. Baisha 白沙先生. He was the first significant scholar from Guangdong. 백사(白沙), 진헌장(陳獻章)

(천샤오)
A censor 御史 in 1597 when he stayed in Liaoyang 遼陽. 진어사(陳御史), 진효(陳效)
Chen Xiliang 陳希亮 진희량
(천시량)
A messanger of Shen Shigui 沈世魁, vice regional commander 副總. He came to Seoul in 1632 as a messenger with condolence for the late Empress Dowager Inmok 仁穆王后. 진희량(陳希亮)
Chen Xuandi 陳宣帝 진선제
(천쉬안디)
(530–582). The next to last emperor of the Chen 陳 during the Northern and Southern Dynasties period. He was regarded as a capable and competent emperor. 진욱(Chen Xu 陳頊), 소세(Shaoshi 紹世)
