Zhang Dun(章惇, 1035~1105), a native of Jian Prefecture(建州), was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. He earned the jinshi degree(進士) in 1057. In the reign of Emperor Shenzong(神宗), he supported the reform policies promoted by Wang Anshi(王安石). (d. 221). A military general of the Shu Han 蜀漢 of the Three Kingdoms period. Zang Fei and Guan Yu 關羽 took Liu Bei 劉備 as their leader in their youth and served as Liu Bei's right-hand men for their whole lives. In 221, after declaring himself Emperor of the Shu Han, Liu Bei appointed Zang Fei as General of Chariots and Cavalry 車騎將軍 and Director of Retainers 司隸校尉, and granted him the title of Marquis of Xi 西鄉侯. When Liu Bei prepared the great military campaign against Sun Quan 孫權 to recapture Jing province 荊州 and avenge the Guan Yu's death, Zhang Pei was killed by Zhang Da 張達 and Fan Qiang 范强, who suffered from his ill treatment. | 장(Zhang 張), 장환후(Zhang Huanhou 張桓侯), 익덕(Yide 益德) |

When Emperor Jiajing 嘉靖 tried to promote his late father to emperor posthumously, Zhang supported the emperor's opinion, while attacking officials who disagreed with the imperial will.
