A Ming official who came to Korea in 1596 along with Ming envoys. He brought a letter from the Ming envoys to the Joseon court instructing that Joseon officials should be sent to Japan for peace negotiations. 유조신(劉朝臣), 조신(朝臣)

(류정)
Liu Zheng(留正, 1129~1206) was an official of the Southern Song Dynasty. He served as Grand Councilor during the reigns of Emperor Xiaozong(孝宗), Guangzong(光宗) and Ninzong(寧宗). He was posthumously honored as Zhongxuan(忠宣). 유정(留正), 류정지(留正之), 중지(仲至)
Liu Zhengyan 劉正彦 유정언
(류정옌)
Liu Zhengyan(劉正彦) was a general who rebelled against the Song court. In the reign of Emepror Gaozong(高宗) in 1129, he and Miao Fu(苗傅) rose in revolt, demanding the abdication of Emperor Gaozong. However, he was defeated and captured by Han Shizhong(韓世忠). He was sent to the capital city and executed. 류(劉), 유정언(劉正彦)

Liu Zhenliang(劉貞亮) was an eunuch of the Tang Dynasty. He original name was Ju Wenzhen(俱文珍). In 805, he forced Emperor Shunzong(順宗) to abdicate in favor of Emperor Xianzong(憲宗). 유정량(劉貞亮), 정량(貞亮)
Liu Zhi 劉摯 유지
(류즈)
Liu Zhi(劉摯, 1030~1098) was an official of the Song Dynasty. After he earned the jinshi(進士) degree in 1059, he was appointed Magistrate of Nanggong District(南宮縣令). Wang Anshi(王安石), who rated him highly, promoted him, but he criticized the reform policies which were promoted by Wang. He was raised to the position of Vice Director of the Palace Library(秘書少監) and acted as the leader of the Shaanxi faction (Shuodang 朔黨) in the reign of Emperor Zhezong(哲宗). 유지(劉摯), 신로(莘老)

An official and Confucian scholar of the Western Jin 西晉 dynasty. As an expert in calenders and rituals, he established a new calender and compiled books on rituals. 자방(Zifang 子房)

(리우즈)
Liu Zhi(陸贄, 754-805) was an official, writer, and medical scientist of the Tang Dynasty, who served Emperor Dezong(德宗) as chancellor. He was born in Jiaxing(嘉興) of Su Prefecture(蘇州). He became a trusted advisor to Emperor Dezong. However, due to conflict with Pei Yanling(裴延齡), who was favored by the emperor, he was demoted and died in exile. 륙(陸), 륙선공(陸宣公), 륙지(陸贄), 지(贄), 육경여(陸敬輿)
