Guo Pu 郭璞 곽박
(궈푸)
(276–324). An official, scholar, and writer of the Eastern Jin 東晉 dynasty. A native of Hedong Commandery 河東郡. He was renowned for his Commentary on the Classic of Mountains and Seas 山海經. He also wrote many poems reflecting Taoism. Although he served Wang Dun 王敦, he opposed Wang Dun's rebellion and subsequently was killed by Wang Dun. 곽경순Guo Jingcun 郭景純), 곽(Guo 郭)

A native of Xizhou (息州). A commoner who claimed to be Bodhisattva and revolted against the Yuan (元) Dynasty.

(궈친)
A high-ranking official during the reign of Emperor Wu of Jin (晉武帝). He and Jiang Tong (江統) advised the emperor to drive out the northern peoples to the border area. 곽흠(郭歆)

(1231-1316 CE). A prominent astronomer, mathematician, and hydrologist during the Yuan 元 Dynasty.

Guo Taihou 郭太后 곽태후
(쿼타이허우)
Empress Dowager Guo(郭太后, ?-847) was a concubine of Emperor Xianzong(憲宗) and the mother of Emperor Muzong(穆宗). She was a granddaughter of Guo Ziyi(郭子儀) and a daughter of Princess Shengping(升平公主), the eldest daughter of Emperor Dezong(德宗). When her son ascended the throne, she subsequently became the empress dowager(皇太后). 곽태후(郭太后), 곽후(郭后)

(궈톈바오)
A Ming commoner taken captive by one of the peoples in the Ming northeastern border area who fled to Joseon. He was sent back to Liaodong (遼東) by the Joseon authorities in the sixth year(1424) of King Sejong 世宗 of Joseon.
