Cai Qing 蔡淸 채청
(차이칭)
(1453-1508). A native of Jinjiang 晉江 and jinshi at the age of 31. He served as Director of the Bureau of Appointments 文選郎中 and then vice superintendant of training 提學副使 of Jiangxi 江西. He became a famous Neo-Confucian scholar who worked very hard. When he went to bed, he prepared a candle near him. Whenever he got a good academic idea while in bed, he immediately lit the candle and wrote it down. He died relatively young due to overwork. 채청(蔡淸)
Cai Que 蔡確 채확

Cai Que(蔡確, 1037~1093) was an official of the Northern Song Dynasty. Born in Qian Prefecture(泉州), he earned the jinshi degree(進士) in 1059. He was a member of the reformist faction led by Wang Anshi(王安石). 채확(蔡確), 확(確)
Cai Shen 蔡沈 채침

Cai Shen(蔡沈, 1167~1230) was a Neo-Confucial scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty. He came from in Jianyang District(建陽縣) and was the third son of Cai Yuanding(蔡元定). He studied under Zhu Xi(朱熹) in the White Deer Grotto Academy(白鹿洞書院). He was posthumously honored as Wenzheng(文正) in 1362. 채(蔡), 채씨(蔡氏), 채침(蔡沈)
Cai Shu 蔡叔 채숙
(차이수)
The son of King Wen of Zhou 周文王 and the younger brother of King Wu 武王. With his elder brother Guan Shu 管叔 and Shang 商 partisans, he rebelled against the young King Cheng 成王 and Duke of Zhou 周公, but was defeated and banished. 채(Cai 蔡), 채숙도(Cai Shu Du 蔡叔度), 채도(蔡度 Cai Du).
